Don’t be spooked by fall real estate marketing

It may be a scary thought, but it’s true: the holiday season is upon us. Here are our top four fall real estate marketing tips to make the most out of your listings, open house, and mailing campaigns.

  1. Why not try a weeknight open house?

In the run-up to the holiday season, weekends tend to get filled up with parties, present-buying, sight-seeing, decorating, cleaning, and marathon baking sessions. Why not set out your real estate yard signs on a Sunday to advertise an upcoming mid-week open house, and let people stop in after work when they’ve got the time?

  1. Give your listings a seasonal once-over

If you have listings that have carried over from warmer months, now is the time to make sure they’re equally appealing to colder-weather buyers. Highlight cozy features like fireplaces, double-paned windows, and great insulation. Do a curb appeal checkup and make sure the landscaping is well-maintained and doesn’t all look dead. And if you’re planning an open house this autumn, make sure you’ve got some spiced apple cider and pumpkin pie fragrances floating around!

  1. Send a spooky (or sweet) greeting

BestPrintBuy has no shortage of holiday-themed real estate postcards and other marketing materials, so you’ve got something to send for every message and occasion. Choose from Halloween, Thanksgiving, Daylight Savings (coming up on November 6!), or a general Fall-themed seasonal postcard. You can even do some trick-or-treating of your own with our Halloween door-hangers!

  1. Host a get-together of your own

Nothing says fall like friends, family, and fun. Hosting a pre-holiday gathering at your office can be a great way to say thanks to all the people who’ve helped you throughout the year, and cement your relationship with the prospects you hope to connect with more over the coming months. Be sure to hand out some Keller Williams branded promotional items like pens, can coolers, and keychain flashlights as a token of your appreciation!
