Should real estate brochures promote your listings or your business?

City Map

Using a real estate brochure to sell a spectacular home is almost a no-brainer. Buyers are so accustomed to skimming the standard MLS flyer that they rarely take in any details. A brochure is something different, something that makes buyers stop and take a second look. It gives you the space to tell a story about an incredible home, and helps recipients begin to imagine themselves living there.

But if you don’t have a single standout listing, or your target market doesn’t lend itself well to luxury listings, can real estate brochures still benefit your business?

Absolutely.

Themed real estate brochures are a great way to help you promote several listings at once. They offer a chance to highlight common features that might be glossed over with a simple listing flyer, and help focus your marketing efforts on a specific audience. There are many ways to do a group, or themed, real estate brochure:

  • Does your market offer an abundance of two-story homes? Create a “single-level living” brochure, focusing on harder-to-find one-story homes for seniors or anyone who prefers a ranch-style layout.
  • A “Great for growing families” brochure might feature lots of spacious homes with big back yards, along with info on local schools and parks.
  • Feature the best of city living by highlighting apartments for sale in up-and-coming neighborhoods, and showing off all the great restaurants, shopping, and attractions in the area.
  • Are multiple agents from your office hosting open houses on the same day? Whip up an “Open house tour” brochure with info on each of the featured houses, as well as directions and city/ neighborhood insights. It will be easy for buyers to spend a full day seeing only houses from your office’s agents!

With a little creativity, you may be surprised by how often you can use a real estate brochure to market one or multiple houses. And remember, if you have questions about getting a brochure set up, we’re here to help at 866-763-8720.
